Install

One line to install.
Then sign in.

Nothing to set up first: no AWS account, no key. Install it, then sign in with the account you signed up with.

See the prompt
Install the DevSecOps Agent command on this machine and get me signed in.

1. Detect the operating system, then run the one line for it:
   - Windows, in PowerShell:
     irm https://www.devsecops-agent.com/install.ps1 | iex
   - macOS or Linux (or Git Bash on Windows), in a terminal:
     curl -fsSL https://www.devsecops-agent.com/install.sh | sh
The installer checks every download against its published SHA-256 and installs
nothing if it does not match. It needs no AWS account and asks for no key.
2. Open a new terminal (so ~/.local/bin is on PATH) and check:
     devops-agent --version
3. Run:
     devops-agent login
It prints a sign-in address and opens my browser on the sign-in page.
Do not enter any password or account details yourself: tell me to finish
signing in in the browser, and wait until it returns.
4. Run:
     devops-agent status
Tell me the email it shows and whether access is on.
If access is off, point me to https://www.verbodh.com/#/account.

Do not change any AWS settings, profiles or credentials.

Pick your system
  1. Windows

    In PowerShell

    irm https://www.devsecops-agent.com/install.ps1 | iex

No warning appears: the program is not code-signed yet, but installed this way Windows does not flag it (checked on Windows 11). Open a new terminal afterwards.

  2. Mac · Linux

    In Terminal

    curl -fsSL https://www.devsecops-agent.com/install.sh | sh

The program is not code-signed yet. Installed with this line, a Mac does not normally ask. If macOS does block it, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. Git Bash on Windows works too: it hands over to the Windows installer.

  3. Then

    Open the chat

    $ devops-agent autostart on

The installer starts the agent in the background and from every login, so the chat opens on this site, signed in with your account. Turned it off? The command above starts it again. Prefer the terminal? devops-agent login, then devops-agent.

Each download is checked against its published checksum, and nothing is installed if it does not match. Your AWS SSO session, model key and chat stay on your machine.
